SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- 2 Toilet Paper Rolls
- Pencil
- Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Scotch Tape
- Cardboard Piece
- Glue Stick
- Ruler
- Card Stock
- Pattern / Digital Paper
DIRECTIONS:
Take one of the two rolls. Measure with ruler to 1 1/2 inch. Make a mark with pencil around the roll. Using a craft knife, cut it in two pieces.
Take your cardboard piece, and make two circles with pencil. The diameter on the cardboard piece should be the same as the toiler roll diameter.
With the scissors, cut out the two circles.
Make sure the cardboard piece circles fit the toilet rolls.
Using the hot glue gun, glue the two circles into the toilet rolls. Take one whole toilet roll, and larger one of the two cut rolls, join them using the scotch tape.
Make sure they are sticking together well.
Take your patterned paper, and measure it with the one bigger roll, the one you created by joining the two rolls.
Make sure the cut out patterned paper measures little longer in size than the roll.
Cut out the patterned paper using the paper cutter.
You have to next glue the patterned paper to the larger roll. In order to do so, measure the paper so that it rolls around the toilet roll.
Using the glue stick, paste the patterned / digital paper around the roll.
Make sure the extra paper you cut earlier covers the edges of the roll.
Cut out two circles from the patterned paper. Using the glue stick them to the bottom of roll.
Using the glue stick, paste the patterned paper around the smaller roll as well.
Glue the circle on top of smaller roll as well.
Next comes the card stock. You need the make the inner part of the bigger roll. Cut out around 1.5 inch wide from the card stock, roll it into the longer roll.
Stick it into the longer roll. This will help this pencil holder to close the upper part of this pencil holder.
